The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved UWA's application to establish campuses in India. The University will launch its first campus in Mumbai followed by one in Chennai.
Deepening a strategic partnership

By establishing a physical presence in India, UWA aims to deepen educational and economic relationships, create new research and industry partnerships, and foster opportunities for collaboration that benefit both regions.
Inclusive education
As part of its commitment to inclusive education, UWA has partnered with the Avasara Academy, a philanthropic initiative dedicated to empowering young women leaders, to offer full scholarships to girls from low socio-economic backgrounds. The initiative aims to create pathways for talented students who may otherwise lack access to world-class education.
